We are updating our systems to a new global security standard, TLS v1.2 and SHA-2 encryption, that will strengthen our ability to keep payment data secure. The deadline for customers to update their point of sale devices to SHA-2 certificates and TLS 1.2 encryption passed on July 31, and they will soon no longer be able to process transactions. Converge customers will have until October 31, 2017, to make the required updates.
